Interested in all things design and architecture? Here Now is a series of UQ Architecture talks that allows cutting-edge architects and leading design thinkers to share new knowledge and challenge existing paradigms in the world of our built environment. In this series of talks you will think, learn and discover more about contemporary architecture both on the local and international stage.
In this lunchtime talk, we will be joined by Ana Luisa Soares of Fala Atelier (Portugal). Fala Atelier is a young practice currently based in Porto. Faithful to their name, fala in Portuguese means informal conversation. The studio is internationally renowned for their poetic and naïve graphic style. The atelier’s work has been exhibited in a variety of international venues, from the Venice Biennale to the Chicago Architecture Biennale, and presented in lectures around the globe.
