With our Prusa i3 MK3s 3D printers you can turn a virtual 3D model into a solid plastic object. In this induction you will learn the basics of 3D printing and creating your own model, including how to load it into the printer and cleaning up the product.

We'll take you through Tinkercad, an online free and easy-to-use app for 3D design. Use your creativity to create your own design and take home your first project!

Once you've completed the induction you can book and use the State Library of Queensland's 3D printers in the Fabrication Lab.

In the event this workshop sells out, we do not hold a waitlist. Please learn more about the Fabrication Lab here, including Terms and Conditions for you to understand prior to registering for this event.
