Making a masterpiece from phone media
Just about every phone these days has a camera. But what do you do with all those video clips and photos that you shoot? In this session we will look at a great editing app to turn videos and pictures into a short video movie, complete with music and effects and even a voice-over! We will edit on tablets during the session, but the app is available on most modern phones so you can get to work on your own masterpieces right away.
Be Connected gives older adults an opportunity to participate in fun, free learning sessions that will increasing their confidence, skills, and knowledge to get online using everyday technology such as smartphones, tablets, laptops and computers.
There is a broad range of topics on offer from learning the absolute basics, getting to know your devices and how to get started online, to connecting with family, online hobbies such as researching your family history and most importantly, how to stay safe online.
State Library of Queensland is part of the Be Connected network and will deliver Be Connected learning session’s onsite Wednesdays and Fridays from 10.00am till 12.30pm, morning tea will be included. Each month we will focus on different learning topics (listed below) and you can book into as many sessions as you like.
