Basics of Microsoft Word
Ever wanted to sit down and write a letter and found yourself having to ponder how to pop in some bullet points, make some text BOLD or get a word count? This session unlocks the secrets of some basic but fundamental functions of Microsoft Word, so that next time you sit down to put together a document, you need ponder no longer!
Be Connected gives older adults an opportunity to participate in fun, free learning sessions that will increasing their confidence, skills, and knowledge to get online using everyday technology such as smartphones, tablets, laptops and computers.
There is a broad range of topics on offer from learning the absolute basics, getting to know your devices and how to get started online, to connecting with family, online hobbies such as researching your family history and most importantly, how to stay safe online.
State Library of Queensland is part of the Be Connected network and will deliver Be Connected learning session’s onsite Wednesdays and Fridays from 10.00am till 12.30pm, morning tea will be included. Each month we will focus on different learning topics (listed below) and you can book into as many sessions as you like.
