Meshmixer is a 3D software that specialises in working with triangle meshes. You can use Meshmixer to clean up 3D scans, edit models for 3D printing, design objects and much more! It has been likened to the 'Swiss Army Knife' of software for 3D meshes and it's also a free program for Mac and PC.
In this workshop we'll take you through the ins and outs of Meshmixer, including examples from State Library of Queensland's 3D scanners in The Edge.
- Participants must be over 16 years of age
- Enclosed, flat footwear must be worn at all times
- Please become a State Library member before you arrive. If you already have a SLQ member account make sure you know your login details, you may be required to login during the workshop to access SLQ computers and to make bookings for equipment.

Concession prices are for holders of; Student Card, Pension Card, Health Care Card. Please be aware that you will have to show your card when you turn up for the session, if card can not be produced you will have to pay the extra amount of the general admission costs.
