101 - Intro to Photoshop

In this 101 workshop at The Edge, we’ll run you through the basics of Adobe Photoshop, an industry standard program for editing photos and raster graphics and for creating digital art. 

Learn to navigate the interface, simple image editing, masking and more! We provide the Creative Cloud suite here for you to use at The Edge, you’ll just need to create a free Adobe account ready to get creative.  

About 101 workshops

101 skills development workshops give you the basic skills you need to start your new creative journey. Each workshop is delivered by an experienced facilitator and no prior experience required, just basic computer skills, a willingness to learn and a bit of patience. 

REQUIREMENTS TO VISIT SOME OF THE SPACES AT THE EDGE

• Participants must be over 16 years of age.
• Enclosed, flat footwear must be worn at all times in the Innovation lab.

Please become a State Library member before you arrive. If you already have a State Library member account, make sure you know your login details as you may be required to login during the workshop to access State Library computers, and to make bookings for equipment.
