The State Library’s Simon Farley and Tom Mosby point out items of interest including documents in the Margaret Lawrie Collection of Torres Strait Islander Material relating to the Nona family who came originally from Samoa.

An assortment of items relating to Samoa from the various collections of the State Library was put on display in the John Oxley Library Reading Room. Items included maps, rare books, photograph albums, archival materials, and Samoan language publications.
