New vision released soon

By Administrator | 19 July 2018

The renewed vision for Queensland public libraries and Indigenous Knowledge Centres will be unveiled at the Asia-Pacific Library and Information Conference at the end of the month.

Realising our potential: A vision for Queensland public libraries (the Vision) is a shared and aspirational vision for the future of public libraries and Indigenous Knowledge Centres that builds on the themes developed in The Next Horizon: VISION 2017 for Queensland public libraries.

Encapsulating input from the comprehensive consultation process which took place with public library and Indigenous Knowledge Centre managers and staff throughout 2017, the Vision includes four objectives and 10 enablers which convey the story of libraries.
