More historical Toowoomba newspapers now available via Trove

Over sixteen years of editions of Toowoomba Chronicle newspapers were recently added to Trove newspapers, an extensive collection of digitised historical Australian newspapers. This addition was made possible through a collaboration between State Library of Queensland and National Library of Australia.

Trove's collection of digitised newspapers is a fantastic, fully-searchable resource for historians, family historians, school and university students and other researchers.

Trove currently includes over 100 Queensland newspapers from Brisbane and regional areas. A full list is available on the Trove website.

The next Queensland newspaper to be added to Trove is the Torres News, covering the years 1957 to 1989.
