This year Margi has conducted workshops at QUT, QACI, Flowstate, Curtin University, Spare Parts Puppet Theatre and State Library of Queensland.

I became a Lifestyle Program Ambassador because...
I think State Library is one of the most influential and exciting institutions in Brisbane, providing multiple opportunities of engagement to a diverse group of people.

My favourite thing in the Lifestyle: a sunshine state of mind exhibition is...
The artmaking opportunity developed by Access Arts, providing the joyful experience of creating mandalas that reflect our lifestyle.

Five great books about my passion...
I particularly enjoy Meg Wolitzer’s The Female Persuasion; Jane Caro’s Unbreakable; Christine Downing’s The Long Journey Home; Rebecca Solnit’s The Faraway Nearby and anything to do with yoga philosophy.

My favourite space at the State Library is...
The bookshop. I visit it far too regularly. There is always something new and stimulating to find. I then have a coffee in the Library Cafe as I browse through my new book.

Lifestyle: a sunshine state of mind explores how we live, work and play in an ever changing Queensland. Lifestyle aims to open up debate, challenge stereotypes, explore the unspoken and acknowledge that our lives revolve around a diversity of perspectives. To help achieve this, a group of nine Program Ambassadors were selected. They collectively form a diverse set of voices reflective of the many different lifestyles, cultures and values of the Queensland community. Each of these Ambassadors has a strong connection to Queensland and has inspiring stories across a broad range of lifestyle topics.
