Calling all graphic designers and visual communicators. This week is your last week to get your entries in for the AGDA Design Awards which recognises the best work in Australia across a wide range of disciplines.

The awards aim to further the discussion about design and to stimulate the creative progress of the industry. They highlight every generation of talent, from students at colleges and universities, through to the long-established leaders of our profession.

There are 10 different categories in which designers can enter from print and packaging to digital and motion categories. Students can also enter their work in the identity, print, packaging, craft and digital categories for the AGDA Student Awards.

The three main criteria for assessment of entries, include: innovative expression of an idea (creativity); execution of the concept (craft); and relevance to the intended audience (communication). Specialist categories such as design effectiveness and design for good have additional aspects to the work such as business and social impact.

All work submitted must have been printed, published or installed between 1 July 2016 and 30 June 2017.

Final close of entries is Friday 4 August 2017. Shortlist announcement will be made on Friday  1 September.

For more information on how to enter, visit https://awards.agda.com.au/
