Lumia: art/light/motion
We're excited to welcome Ernie and his curious friends to State Library this month, when Lumia opens in slq Gallery. Artists Priscilla Bracks and Gavin Sade combine art and technology to create strange but intriguing objects in this interactive new media exhibition. This extraordinary collection of hand-crafted electronic creatures and installations will respond to you and their environment, and provoke thought about human nature, our actions and impact on our world.

Parking at the State Library
Unfortunately, the Cultural Centre car parks and tunnel remain closed in the wake of the January floods. Keep an eye on our website for updates. In the meantime, we encourage visitors to use public transport. We're an easy walk from the Cultural Centre busway, South Brisbane train station or the CBD via the Victoria or Kurilpa bridges.
