The Hollow Drawing Room

The interior rooms at The Hollow are obviously dear to the hearts of the Rawson family. Much time and effort appears to have been expended on their decoration and the visual recording of the finished rooms.

Charles has sketched the rooms and Ned has photographed them leaving us, and probably their family in England, a delightful impression of the domestic arrangements at The Hollow and The Nyth. The drawing room reveals the interior as being typical of many colonial rooms with an eclectic mish-mash of furniture including traditional English, Raj, Chinese, and also English portable styles.
