Staged Lives - a free event with playwrights Will Eno, Michael Gow and David Williamson
Internationally renowned playwright, Will Eno, and award-winning Australian playwrights Michael Gow and David Williamson, have all used aspects of their lives, sometimes controversially, as dramatic fodder. Join them in discussion with Brisbane Writers Festival Director Jane O'Hara, to explore how to turn real life dramas into theatre, what it feels like to have your private life performed in public, and ways of weaving fact and fiction.
Presented by Queensland Theatre Company, Playlab, and the State Library of Queensland, this is a rare opportunity to hear one of America's most exciting and talented new voices alongside two of our most awarded and popular playwrights.
