Story Lab: holiday workshops at the State Library
There are hundreds of different ways to tell a story!
Concoct stories using more than just words. Step in to the Story Lab and unleash your imagination these holidays.
Writing, illustration, animation, cartooning, manga, or poetry – choose the techniques that tickle your fancy and join professional artists for fun and creative hands-on holiday workshops.
In week one, there are four different half day workshops to choose from each day. If you come to both a morning and afternoon session there are supervised activities at lunchtime. In week 2 workshops run for the whole day from 10am to 4pm.
Our workshops are specially designed to cater for different age groups and various learning styles.
All materials are supplied for the workshops and participants will take home their own creations.
Download an information for parents sheet [ (PDF 48.1 KB)] and a consent form [ (PDF 134.7 KB)]. The consent form is to be handed in when you sign your child into their first course.
