QMusic professional development series– Recording and production

Learn how to navigate your way through the ever-changing music industry at QMusic’s free professional development workshops. Focusing on key topics for aspiring, emerging and established musicians, managers and industry workers, each session will provide discussion and discourse to educate and inspire.

This week’s workshop covers all aspects of the recording process from pre-production and mixing to mastering, budgeting, how to choose a producer and studio that’s right for you, studios VS DIY, being prepared before you go into the studio and much more.

Speakers include Yanto Browning (Airlock Studios) and Cameron Smith (Incremental Records) and Lachlan Magoo Goold (Applewood Studios).

After each workshop, stick around and network with industry professionals at QMusic’s hook-up event.
