Reading matters: with Raina Telgemeier and Tim Sinclair

State Library of Queensland invites you to join young adult authors Raina Telgemeier and Tim Sinclair as they discuss recent works and look at how to engage young people in the wonderful worlds discoverable through reading, literacy and graphic novels.
Raina Telgemeier is a freelance artist based in New York. Her graphic novel memoir, Smile, became an international bestseller and won the Eisner Award. Her latest graphic novel is Drama.
Tim Sinclair is a poet, novelist, sound creator and PhD candidate examining young adult post-apocalyptic fiction. His publications include Nine hours north (a verse novel) and Re:reading the dictionary (poetry for word nerds). His latest verse novel, Run, is a YA paranoid thriller about parkour.
