Part 3 - Scanning your family photos

Who's Your Mob 2018

This event is now in the past.

If you're thinking about starting your Indigenous family history search but aren't sure how or where to begin, Who's Your Mob? is the helping hand you need.

In part three of this four-part series, you will discover the importance of digitisation and understand the basic steps for keeping your precious family photos safe. Bring along your personal collections for scanning on the day or come along to this session for an induction so you can book scanner time at a later date.

Who's Your Mob? is a free workshop series that offers an easy introduction to the State Library of Queensland resources and information available for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander family research. Build your research skills and begin your journey in a friendly, culturally supportive space.

Places are strictly limited to provide a hands-on, practical learning approach, so book fast to secure your spot.

To get the most from Who’s Your Mob? we recommend undertaking all four workshops as a singular series. Past participants of the introductory workshop are welcome to book into individual sessions to complete the series.
