Deadly Brothers

Deadly Brothers

Discover our deadly brothers  – Murri men and Ailan Mabigal who have made their name in music across a range of genres and ages from the 1940s to today; through opera, to rock, to electronic and more. Five musicians, whose inspiration is drawn from their culture, are thrown into the spotlight and presented through interviews, personal items, lyrics, ephemera and music itself.

The music-packed sequel to the female-only Flash Women exhibition, The Deadly Brothers exhibition provides an Indigenous perspective to the Live! Queensland band culture program.

Part of Live! Queensland band culture.
