Follow the progress of the 2017 Q ANZAC 100: Memories for a New Generation Fellows as they bring to life experiences of Queenslanders during both world wars. Hear about the attitudes of government and society towards ongoing care of returned soldiers who became alcoholics, and how crime flourished in Brisbane during the Second World War. Discover Queensland’s Great War memorial rolls, and an artist’s response to imagery contained in soldiers’ letters, diaries, photographs and possessions.

Join Fellows Greer Townshend, Lisa Jackson, Dr Peter Crossman and Dr Judith Powell as they discuss their research and the fascinating stories they have uncovered of Queensland at War.

Part of Q ANZAC 100: Memories for a New Generation, proudly supported by the Queensland Government.
