A Night by the Fire with Water Women - Aqua Dreaming
This event is now in the past.
Under traditional Aboriginal law, the clan’s senior women were responsible for teaching children, instilling in them lawful behaviour for Country and guiding them until they were old enough to take their place in the camp.
Water Women is a group of determined senior Aboriginal women who have reinstated this traditional practice and are nurturing the next generation of spiritually strong women.
During Black History Month, join representatives from the Aqua Dreaming group for a cup of tea by the fire to listen, learn and be inspired by senior law women.
