Artlink: Disaster & Fortitude
This event is now in the past.
Join us for the launch of the Artlink’s December issue Disaster & Fortitude, which opens a window on artists whose work reflects the global emergency of climate change, from bushfires to tsunamis, and cyclones to deepwater oil drilling.
Artists include Ken & Julia Yonetani, Carmel Wallace, Lloyd Godman, Merilyn Fairskye, DV Rogers, and collectives Stoked, and the Williams River Valley Artists.
During the launch, hear from guest speaker Drew Hutton, co-founder of the Greens Party and founder of the Lock The Gate movement.
The first 15 people to arrive and register on the night will receive a complimentary copy of Disaster & Fortitude. There will also be special launch prices on current issue and subscriptions.
If you have booked and are now unable to attend this event please advise us via email learningparticipation@slq.qld.gov.au as soon as possible so we can reallocate your ticket.
