UQ Architecture lecture — Eunice Seng
This event is now in the past.
This annual lecture series brings together forward-thinking architects and provocateurs who are each engaged in the generation of new knowledge, ideas and strategies within the field of architecture.
The eight and final presenter for 2015 is Eunice Seng, founding principal of SKEW Collaborative (Shanghai). SKEW was selected by Architecture Record as one of seven Emerging Chinese Architects in 2009, by Green Planet Architects as one of the Top 50 Sustainable Architects in 2013, and by Architectural Digest as one of 100 Top Talents in Architecture and Interior Design in China in 2013.
Eunice's particular research interests include the histories and theories of modernity, housing, domesticity and the metropolis, utopias, and artefacts and their cultural representations. She is currently writing and co-writing several books on urban habitation and sustainable housing.
