Promote and share your First World War collections online - Townsville
Does your organisation want to share local First World War history and stories online?
You are invited to participate in this workshop to explore how digitised content is made more discoverable and engaging in the online world.
At this workshop you will discover the range of tools available to promote and share your collections online. Learn how to connect your community with these resources and encourage wider contribution to Anzac centenary commemoration projects online.
You are also invited to contribute your stories to some of our other First World War initiatives:
- Q ANZAC 100 #OnThisDay: retells the news of the day from 100 years ago on Twitter, Facebook and the WWI Centenary blog.
- Q ANZAC 100 on Historypin: Search, discover, learn and contribute your story about the Queensland experience of the First World War at www.historypin.org/qanzac100
Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea provided.
Please note: this is a 1.5 day workshop, running from 9am-4pm, 27 July and 9am-1pm, 28 July, 2017.
