First World war treasures: a white gloves experience  10am - 12pm

This free workshop offers a unique opportunity to put on the white gloves for a hands-on look at some of State Library of Queensland’s precious original First World War materials.  An SLQ collection expert will guide you through a selection of treasures including letters, diaries and photographs.

Caring for your First World War collections  1pm - 4pm

Do you have photos, letters and documentary heritage materials from loved ones who went to war? An SLQ conservator will show you how to care for your personal treasures so that they are preserved for future generations. Please bring along a note book and one item you would like to preserve to this free workshop.

Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea provided
