First World War treasures: a white gloves experience - Cherbourg

White gloves experience

This event is now in the past.

This workshop offers a unique opportunity to put on the white gloves and join us for a hands-on look at some of State Library of Queensland’s precious original First World War materials. Get up close and personal with a curated selection of First World War treasures such as letters, diaries and photographs. A SLQ collection specialist will guide you through the stories and significance of these carefully selected First World War collection items.

You are also invited to share your family’s First World War stories with SLQ staff.

Refreshments provided.

The workshop is supported by Cherbourg Historical Precinct Group.
