Soldier portrait projections

Building illuminations

This event is now in the past.

To mark the Armistice Centenary, State Library of Queensland will light up red and project digital imagery from our Q ANZAC 100 collection during the lead up to Remembrance Day.

State Library is joining Queensland landmarks, buildings and bridges across the state in lighting up red this Remembrance Day to honour the 57,705 Queensland soldiers who enlisted in the First World War.

To be part of this community initiative, you can simply tie a red ribbon around your mailbox or wear a poppy – to commemorate this pivotal moment in history.
