Be the first to experience the best and freshest locally written music at the culmination of the Composition Competition, performed by the South Brisbane Federal Band.
One of Brisbane’s iconic brass bands, The Feds have been entertaining the public for over 100 years. The band is an integral part of the musical fabric of this city and has been thrilling audiences with a blend of traditional and contemporary brass since 1912.
With initiatives like this, The Feds are a new breed of brass players who taking a century old iconic band into the modern era with vigour, enthusiasm and community spirit.
