FreeVerse! where page meets stage

It’s the ultimate duel between the fine traditions of performance and page poetry.

Were words meant to fly? Is the pen mightier than the microphone?

Each event, emceed by David (Ghostboy) Stavanger, pairs an established page poet with a spoken word artist. Both appear on stage simultaneously and share their work back and forth, poem for poem.

This month features former Queensland Slam Champion, Scott Sneddon aka Darkwing Dubs vs award winning published poet and editor, Brett Dionysius.
