Story Lab: Writing workshop (ages 13-17)
This event is now in the past.
In this hands-on workshop with children’s author Tristan Bancks, discover how free writing,
photography, trans-media brainstorming and visualisation can bring your stories to life.
Become a story scientist, mixing music, words, pictures, maps and video to create your own fictional band. Develop their sound and look, devise the characters, write the band’s backstory, shoot an album cover and make a music video.
This workshop is for ages 13-17. For information regarding workshops for ages 9-12, click here. All materials are supplied for the workshops and participants will take home their own creations.
Download an information sheet, consent and release form and permission form. The consent and release form and permission form are to be handed in when you sign your child into their first course.
