Story Lab: Filmmaking workshop (ages 9-12)

Filmmaking workshop

This event is now in the past.

Aspiring filmmakers, take a seat in the director's chair as you write, shoot and edit a short film in this hands-on workshop. Use music as a starting point to experiment with different genres and styles of film. Then learn how to storyboard, act and edit on the go, using small handheld cameras to create your own film for launch at the Story Lab Showcase.

This workshop is for ages 9-12. For information regarding workshops for ages 13-17, click here. All materials are supplied for the workshops and participants will take home their own creations.

Download an information sheet, consent and release form and permission form. The consent and release form and permission form are to be handed in when you sign your child into their first course.
