Short story workshop - Toowoomba
This event is now in the past.
In support of the Young Writers Awards, SLQ and Queensland Writers Centre are delighted to present a free short story writing course designed for budding writers looking to brush up on and refine their craft.
Short story writing is an art in and of itself, and this informative and engaging workshop features writing and ideas exercises, discussion about the form, character development, and narrative development. Explore the short form in an encouraging session and walk away with all the techniques to write or polish your own short fiction!
The $2,000 Young Writers Award is open to 18 – 25 years-olds living in Queensland. To help make sure your submission is in the best possible shape it can be, come along to this free short story writing workshop with author Angela Slatter.
