Gamestar Mechanic uses fun, game-based quests and courses to help you learn game design and make your own video games.
We’ve recently added a Gamestar Mechanic Toolkit to Design Minds website, an online education resource.
To celebrate the launch of the Toolkit in early 2013, we’re holding a series of game design workshops for students with toolkit creators, Peter Hall (Head of School, Queensland College of Art) and Rhys Cassidy (Vice-President, Australian Teachers of Media, QLD).
These workshops are part of SLQ’s Garage Gamer program - unleash your passion for play in our games gallery or at workshops, talks, films and more. Check out the full program of events.
