National Family History Month 2018

Family History Month

Family history research is a huge part of the way libraries and archives serve their communities. It is a way for people to connect to the lives of their ancestors.

State Library of Queensland is participating in National Family History Month, a program of events across Australia and online this August, focusing on genealogy, family history, heraldry and more.

Our kuril dhagun team will also be presenting the Who's Your Mob? workshop series during National Family History Month, helping Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people along their family history journeys. Click here for more information about the Saturday 4 August session.
