Digitising collections workshop

Have you ever wondered how to make digital copies of your precious and irreplaceable family photos? Are you daunted by such terms as TIFF, JPEG and DPI? How do you digitise a framed photo? Can you do any of this at home without it costing the earth? How can you digitise your collections without damaging them?

These questions and more will be answered at this hands on workshop. Bring along one or two items (no bigger than A4 size) from your own collections to digitise under the guidance of the State Library’s Visual Media Coordinator.
