Caring for your First World War collections (Cairns)

Caring for your collections

This event is now in the past.

Do you have a number of personal items connected to the First World War? Ever wanted to learn about the best ways to care for these personal treasures?

Come along to our Caring for your First World War collections session and a conservator will provide advice on how to care for your personal First World War treasures, so that they are preserved for future generations. You are invited to bring one item that you would like to know how to preserve.

Before this session, get a hands-on look at some of State Library’s precious original First World War materials in our Cairns white gloves experience, from 10am–12pm.

This event is part of Q ANZAC 100: Memories for a New Generation, proudly supported by the Queensland Government.
