Apple Distinguished Educators: Transforming learning in the senior years

Learn avatar

This event is now in the past.

In this workshop tailored to teachers working in the senior phase of learning, we will explore how the iPad transforms learning for students in Year 10 to Year 12.

A variety of high-quality examples of the ways the iPad can enrich learning will be demonstrated across curriculum areas, including the use of iBooks Author for Mac to create multi-touch textbooks for iPad. Through demonstrating accessibility features, we will showcase the best ways to support students with special needs to engage with the curriculum with support of the iPad.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own iPad. There will be a limited number available to borrow at the session.

SLQ's Digital skills workshop series is presented in partnership with Apple Distinguished Educators to deliver professional development workshops for teachers and education professionals. Each session is supported with an apps list and registered teachers will also be provided with PD certificates on completion each session.
