Apple Distinguished Educators: Intro to iPads

This workshop provides an overview of using iPads for teaching and learning.

Discover the basic features and functions of the iPad, how to connect it to a classroom projector and how to leverage accessibility features to support students with special needs.

Some iPad apps will be suggested to get you started using an iPad in the classroom.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own iPad. There will be a limited number available to borrow at the session.

SLQ's Digital skills workshop series is presented in partnership with Apple Distinguished Educators to deliver professional development workshops for teachers and education professionals. Each session is supported with an apps list and registered teachers will also be provided with PD certificates on completion each session.
