Apple Distinguished Educators: Transforming learning for higher education

In this workshop we explore the ways the iPad is transforming teaching and learning in higher education. We will demonstrate a number of commonly used apps in higher education and how they are used to support teaching and learning. We will explore the power of iTunes U and iBooks Author and how these tools are reshaping the way students access content.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own iPad. There will be a limited number available to borrow at the session.

SLQ's Digital skills workshop series is presented in partnership with Apple Distinguished Educators to deliver professional development workshops for teachers and education professionals. Each session is supported with an apps list and registered teachers will also be provided with PD certificates on completion each session.
