Apple Distinguished Educators: Transforming learning in early years

In this workshop we explore the ways the iPad is transforming learning for students in Prep to Year 4.

Discover how the iPad inspires creativity, play and hands-on learning for early phase students. Explore content creation apps to see how easy it is to transform learning and foster higher order thinking. Become an expert on iPad accessibility features to support diverse learners and enable individualised learning.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own iPad. There will be a limited number available to borrow at the session.

SLQ's Digital skills workshop series is presented in partnership with Apple Distinguished Educators to deliver professional development workshops for teachers and education professionals. Each session is supported with an apps list and registered teachers will also be provided with PD certificates on completion each session.
