SLiQ Flicks: May carers session

Howl's Moving Castle

This event is now in the past.

As part of our SLiQ Flicks Carers Sessions, parents, carers and children are invited to come along and enjoy a free morning film.

After taking your votes, this month we're screening Howl’s Moving Castle (PG, 2004, 115min). It's a Japanese anime fantasy film based on Diana Wynne-Jones’ novel of the same name.  An young hat-maker, Sophie, is cursed by a spiteful old witch, and her body is transformed into that of a 90-year-old woman. Sophie’s only chance of breaking the spell is to seek out Howl, a self-indulgent young wizard who lives in a walking castle.
