The Man Who Fell to Earth (R18+)

fell to earth

This event is now in the past.

David Bowie is the ambassador and only hope for an alien world who must disguise himself as the ultimate human in this surreal, haunting meditation on what it means to live amongst strangers, and how much of ourselves we can bear to lose. Presented in it’s full Director’s Cut, Roeg’s film is as challenging now as it was over thirty years ago.

Throughout April, SLiQ flicks explores the notions of identity and façade with a series of films looking beyond the surface of normalcy and reaching into the darker currents of impulse, secrets and chaos.
