Food Tales Tour 2012
Explore the narratives behind your favourite recipes with some of Australia’s best-loved food writers at Food Tales – a statewide narrative feast of food and writing.
A joint initiative from SLQ and Queensland Writers Centre, Food Tales 2012 will feature soul woman chef and author, Dominique Rizzo, MasterChef alumna and food-writer Marion Grasby, and food blogger Not Quite Nigella, a.k.a Lorraine Elliott.
Join our guest food-writers and chefs for author talks, share in brunch / afternoon tea, participate in creative workshops to learn how to translate recipes and experiences into your very own food tales, and get the chance to explore what your local library has to offer. Each event will include practical digital publishing discussion, giving you the chance to contribute to the Food Tales website or even set up your own blog.
Food Tales will be visiting the Lockyer valley, Far North Queensland, and North Queensland Townsville regions from April to June. Contact your local library, or visit the Food Tales blog for more information.
