Celebrate words and challenge your ideas with a range of writer talks and feature events guaranteed to stir your senses at this year's Brisbane Writers Festival.
Meet your favourite authors at lectures and signings, browse the bookstore for new reads, and indulge your inner wordsmith with practical workshops and masterclasses. At the end of the day, relax with a drink in the Festival Club to the soulful strains of talented singer/songwriters.
BWF 2013 brings together an array literary superstars from Queensland, Australia, and the globe, inluding Benjamin Law, Rebecca Sparrow, Alex Miller, Chris Somerville, Garth Nix, Anita Heiss, Scott Westerfeld, Kari Gislason, and more!
The children will be kept enthralled at Alphabet Zoo with a variety of fun activities for the whole family, and students in grades 4 – 10 will love Word Play, an academically engaging experience for young readers, writers and illustrators.
