A night by the fire with Michael Aird

Michael was born at Southport and has spent most of his life living in the Gold Coast region, the traditional country of his ancestors. His career as an anthropologist in the area of Aboriginal cultural heritage has included the curating of several exhibitions.
As curator of the Transforming Tindale exhibition, Michael has explored the legacy of Norman Tindale’s anthropological expedition to Aboriginal communities in 1938.
