Stephen Wiltshire drawing

Stephen Wiltshire
See the city of Brisbane brought to life on canvas through the brilliance of British artist Stephen Wiltshire, MBE.

In November, 2011, Stephen flew over Brisbane city in a helicopter, and then spent four days committing his view to a large canvas, while we watched.

Stephen has gained worldwide acclaim for his large scale and highly detailed drawings of many of the world’s great cities including New York, Tokyo, Venice, London and Sydney – and now Brisbane!

The UK’s most exciting young artist produces energetic streetscapes and panoramas that are immediately recognisable – and often drawn from memory and at great speed.

Stephen’s talent is even more incredible considering that he was diagnosed with autism when he was three years old. His work is now popular all over the world and is held in a number of important collections.
