Learn how to prepare copper plates without the use of acids, using a number of ancient and contemporary processes including electric engraving, roulette, mezzotint and drypoint.
Through the day you’ll prepare, draw and print an etching from a copper plate and gain a basic understanding of the history and processes involved in making and printing a successful non-etched intaglio plate.
Numbers are limited – please book early.
This event is part of the Metal As Anything: Ron McBurnie exhibition, showcasing 30 years of intricate and endearing etchings by one of Australia’s leading printmakers.
