The Corner looks at picture books!

This event is now in the past.

Once upon a time, not so very far away,
In a place called The Corner where children come to play,
The pages of picture books are coming alive,
Unleashing a world where wild things thrive.
So don’t delay - come gather around,
In the pages of picture books is where we’ll be found!

The Corner is a creative play space for under 8s, their family, friends and carers. Read by torchlight under the starry starry sky, head off on a march with the wild things, pack up the caravan for a trip to the Top End, then rest your head in the giant nest.

Little Literati congregate in The Corner
You’re never too young to tell a story, pencil a poem or draw a dissertation! Drop by our Little Literati self-publishing house to snip, cut, craft and create your very own take-home book.

Play date
Join us in The Corner between 10am to 12noon daily for a play date with our artsworker team. Get ready for a creative adventure of singing, dancing, and story-time.
