Look! the art of Australian picture books today

Created by State Library of Victoria, Look! features original artworks, sketches and drawings by more than 40 of Australia’s most talented illustrators, including Shaun Tan, Graeme Base, Bob Graham, Lucia Masciullo, Stella Danalis, Gregory Rogers, Leigh Hobbs and Terry Denton.
The exquisite images tell many stories, sharing glimpses into the beautiful, hilarious, adventurous and sometimes scary worlds of childhood. They help children to understand their world and give imaginations fuel to dream.
Titles featured include favourites such as Are We There Yet?, The Arrival, Old Tom’s Holiday, Greetings From Sandy Beach, Fox and Enigma.
The exhibition is complemented by an extensive program of activities for both children and adults. Enjoy craft, music, tours, talks, workshops and more!
