Iconic Queensland pop-up

Iconic Queenslander pop-up

This event is now in the past.

Step inside a 3D installation of iconic Queensland illustrations from SLQ collections, taken from the historical The Queenslander magazine. Sit, pose, and take your photo at the beach, on the surfboard, or riding the bike. Upload your image to Instagram, Facebook or Twitter using #belongingqld and tag State Library of Queensland. Together, we will build an online exhibition that celebrates our diverse identities and connections with Queensland.

Visit slq.qld.gov.au/belonging to learn more about SLQ’s 2016 program of events exploring the sense of belonging in Queensland and the connections we have to our families, communities, special places, and other people in Queensland.

This installation was created by Queensland designer Penny Challen.

Purchase archival quality poster prints of these The Queenslander illustrations from the SLQ Shop.
